I didn't forget Easter.

I figured I better get these Easter pictures up before I am over a week late. It was a laid back Easter this year. Annie and I got up on Easter morning and headed to the egg hunt. She wasn't all that impressed, but then again the egg hunt was nothing too exciting. She sat on the floor and picked her egg(s). Meagan and I cooked Easter dinner for the 4 of us and then Joe had to go to work.

We are finally seeing some nice weather around here. Annie is making up for being cooped up in the house for the entire winter. This girl lives to be outside. We don't have to be doing anything exciting, just being outside is enough for her. Today we ate our afternoon snack outside while waiting for Meagan to come home from school.

Meagan arrived home and Meagan introduced Annie to the world of sidewalk chalk.

Finally we hit the park and later stopped for dinner.

It's hard to see, but there is ketchup smeared on her face. This girl doesn't eat a lot of food, but she sure loves to dip. Tonight's meal of choice? Apple slices dipped in ketchup. Yum! And for those that might be wondering - she's drinking apple juice. Annie thinks she's a big shot when given the chance to use a "real" cup and straw. After all, sippy cups are for babies.

I bet your kids and my kids were drawing on the sidewalk on the same day.

Isabel is a dipper, too. She has to dip everything into ketchup.
