It was a good weekend, and a great kick off to the holiday season.
Thanksgiving was spent at my Moms house with Joe, Meagan and Annie. Mike and Angie, Charlotte and Alex and Angie's mom joined us as well. As usual there was a abundance of food and an early morning of shopping for me and my mom. It's been a couple of years since we have gone Black Friday shopping together, it was nice to have that tradition back.
On Saturday Meagan, Annie, and I headed back up to the cities to spend the weekend in Minneapolis with Grandma. We went to the Holidazzle parade-I hadn't been there since we took Meagan and Lauren when they were little girls. We went to the Christmas display at Macy's, did some swimming at the hotel and on Sunday we took Annie for her first theater experience. We saw Junie B. Jones-Jingle Bells, Batman Smells. It's based off the children's book by Barbara Park. Annie loved it. We have tickets to see a few more plays over the next several months and I'm hoping that all experiences go as well as this one did.
