2009

Well, my quest to take more pictures at family functions didn't pan out as I would have hoped. However, Richard and Sue were snapping away and I'm hoping that they share the pictures once they are ready.

New Years Day the family heads to Grandpa's house. Usually the cousins gravitate towards the pool and the pool table and the aunts and uncles mingle elsewhere in the house. It's funny when I look back at pictures from different family functions that all my pictures are of the same people, standing/sitting in pretty much the same places year after year. :)

So, here is a brief recap of New Years Day 2009 by the pool.



This table was pretty much the coolest thing Annie had ever seen. Pulling the balls out of the pockets, and putting them in a different pocket could have kept her entertained for hours. She loved it. She was dressed and waiting in her suit for one of the big kids to take her in.







See that ladybug float thing? A complete waste of money for the time being. I ordered it off eBay especially for this day knowing thinking that the older kids would get tired of holding her, and maybe she'd like to float around and watch them play. Um, no. She clung to Meagan and Sandra the entire time she was in the water.





While I'm sure Vinny would have loved to have clung on to someone, it didn't quite work out that way. Poor Vinny, someone is always picking on him. These pictures are dark, but I'm sure you can figure out what is going on.







And here's Joe working real hard at that 5 pound weight. What a dork.





We all had a good time, Marylynn made us all a wonderful dinner and it was nice spending time with the family. Until next time, I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2009!!
